Jenn Wexler’s twisted sophomore feature has it all. Set in the 1970s, it follows two lonely students at a boarding school staying behind over Christmas holidays which is invaded by a Manson Family-like cult determined to summon a demon. Pile on to all that, a dark sense of humour and gory, gleeful practical effects and you get a blood-red feast for your horror-loving eyes. A must see in the theatre for that communal screaming experience!
