Sudeep is a high profile industrialist who gets whatever he wants and he has a special eye for beautiful women. To get them, he will not hesitate to do anything. That desire gets triggered when Sudeep sees Bindu, a micro artist who runs a non-profit organization. However, Bindu is loved by Nani who keeps following her everywhere. Though Bindu loves him, she doesn’t express it to him and enjoys the attention. The story takes a turn when Sudeep discovers the feelings of Bindu for Nani and is unable to digest his defeat. He kills Nani. But Nani is born again as ‘Eega'(fly) and he wants to take vengeance on Sudeep. Written by VishNu Teja

“It’s absurd. It’s amazing. Makkhi (Eega) is unlike any entertainer you have seen lately. What boggles you is the fact that it is a special film despite sticking to every textbook rule that has ever defined hackneyed commercial cinema.” – India Today

“Eega Is The Best, Most Insane, Most Inventive Film Of The Year. Catch This Fly While You Can!” – Twitch Film

“After that the movie turns into full fledged delirium so there’s no real point in detailing much about it.” – Quiet Earth

Programmer’s Opinion

Watching the first third of the movie I started to truly hate how nice the hero of the story is and how evil and despicable the villain is, but by the time the villain kills our plucky hero I was totally on board. Yes, you read that right before the movie is one third done the hero dies. Okay, fine he is reincarnated as a fly and yes he goes about seeking revenge on his killer all the while trying to win the love of his true sweetheart. EEGA is the total package when it comes to Indian Film. This Tollywood (made in the Telegu language) has wild action, an incredibly sappy annoying good guy, dastardly villains, a beautiful love interest, mystical shamans and several dance numbers (one even involving Nani the fly). Indian films like EEGA truly wear their heart on their sleeve. You will laugh, cry, clap along with the music, be amazed at the action, and by the end of the movie, you will believe! – John Allison
